Get to know your way around our co-op, from a "mercado" point of view. This two part Spanish class will give you the basics of vocabulary, small talk, and basic shopping questions, en español. Come refresh your rusty Spanish, and deepen the quality of your bi-lingual interactions with our Hispanic neighbors in the valley.
Ian Kinney is becoming certified as a translator. A graduate of Central Washington University, he is just back from South America, and works as an outreach assistant at the Co-op. A local boy with a colorful repertoire, he hopes to keep his future unknown. With his roots in LaConner, he enjoys the local terrain to the fullest, jumping from tree to rock through river and marsh.
