Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement strategies: what are they? Hormones are chemical messengers that affect the function of distant organs, tissues and cells all over the body. A decline in your hormone levels starts in your 20’s and 30’s, but also commonly occurs with vitamin & mineral deficiencies, illness, poor diet and lifestyle choices, and exposure to toxins in the environment. Low hormone levels play havoc with your health and vitality, causing many common symptoms like weight gain, fatigue, lowered immunity, and poor memory. Bio-identical hormones, unlike the synthetic ones patented by the drug companies, are the exact copy of your own natural hormones, and can restore function, maybe even lengthening your life span. Also, learn which foods and nutrients help your natural hormones do their jobs, and maintain healthy levels as long as possible.
