B.B. Meat & Sausage is a local family-owned
business in Bellingham, Washington.
Their heritage dates back to the 1800's and the Hempler family’s sausage kitchen in Borken, Germany. Hans Hempler came to the United States in 1928 and worked hard and saved his money. He later returned to Germany and married Emmy Hoff, who waited patiently for him for six years. He returned to Washington with his bride in 1934, settled in Bellingham and bought B.B. Meat and Sausage Co. His son, Richard, is now President of the company, carrying on the fine tradition established by his father.
Hempler's No Nitrite all-beef products are made with naturally grown Oregon Country Beef that has been fed only a vegetarian diet without hormones or feed antibiotics and has not been irradiated. The spices consist of natural spices and no gluten or MSG.
