Disruption Wine Company: A Washington Winery with More Wine, Less Ego

Disruption Wine Company is a new Washington winery: really good juice at a fair price. Disruption harvests its fruit from some of Washington’s finest growing regions. They say their wines are approachable, yet refined, with a unique and maybe provocative flair.

2014 Red Wine
Producer: Disruption Wine Company
Varietal: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Malbec
Region: Columbia Valley, Washington
Price: $13.99

Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the warm climate of the Wahluke Slope blend with the fresh dark fruit of the Malbec from the cooler Yakima Valley to make the wine vibrant and fresh on the palate. The best of both Washington wine worlds. Best just to drink.

2014 Cabernet Sauvignon
Producer: Disruption Wine Company
Varietal: 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot, 4% Malbec, 3% Merlot
Region: Columbia Valley, Washington
Price: $13.99

The Cabernet Sauvignon is Classic Washington. It has a deep dark color and excellent structure along with a velvety mouth-feel. Hints of spice compliment the notes of cassis and black cherry. Best paired with meat.
