New: Galen’s Gin Pickles

Try a new offering from our Meat Department: Galen’s Gin Pickles, made with “spent botanicals” – a blend of herbs and spices used to make Red X Gin – from Valley Shine Distillery, just down the road from the Co-op Building.

Galen’s Gin Pickles

Known as a “quick” or “refrigerator” pickle, Galen’s Gin pickles are aged and brined for a shorter period of time than regular pickles. Designed by our Meat & Seafood Manager and veteran Co-op employee Galen LeGrand, Galen’s Gin Pickles are naturally gluten free and made from whole food ingredients, including: cucumbers, onions, garlic, apple cider vinegar, and our special blend of herbs and spices. The vegetables absorb flavor and retain a crispy texture.

Find these zesty pickles on sale now at the Co-op’s Meat Department and at the CURED Marketplace, for only $3.99 per jar. Serve these pickles with sandwiches, burgers, or cheese plates. Add minced pickles to egg salad, tuna salad or deviled egg recipes. Or enjoy simply: pair with Galen’s Gin Pickles with CURED Pepperoni Snack Sticks and saltine crackers.
