Produce Feature: Taylor’s Gold Comice Pears

We bought Gary Moulton’s entire crop again this year! A russeted, thick skinned pear (that we recommend peeling) with the sweetest, most buttery flesh imaginable. Check ripeness by pressing lightly on the flesh around the stem; it should be as soft as a ripe peach. They’re sure to sell out quickly so get them while you can! (Not certified organic.)
