RX Bars & Whole Protein

Back in 2013, after chewing through years of chalky protein bars, two friends decided they could do it better. They could make a protein bar that was better tasting and suitable for a wide audience. After a series of successful experiments, Peter Rahal and Jared Smith quit their day jobs and began building the RXBAR® company. Both were industry outsiders, working without the aid of venture capitalists or focus groups. Ultimately Peter and Jared’s efforts paid off and they tapped into a fan base with their simple, no nonsense packaging.

RXBARS® are based on simple whole food foundations: egg whites for protein. Dates to bind. Nuts for texture. Each bar contains 12 grams protein in 210 calories or less and is made without added sugar, dairy, soy, gluten, artificial colors, preservatives or fillers. Approved by many diets, RXBARS® are naturally suitable for Celiac, paleo and Whole30 food regimens.
