Les Dauphins Côtes du Rhône Reserve

New to the Co-op: Les Dauphins Côtes du Rhône Reserve Rouge & Blanc wines!

We are thrilled to bring this winery to the Co-op for the first time. Les Dauphins’ vineyards are in the southern Rhone Valley, south of Drôme and north of Vaucluse. The grapes are influenced by chalky clay soil and Mediterranean mistral winds. These well-crafted, sophisticated wines are all about summertime pleasures and versatility.

Rouge
75% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 5% Mourvedre
Ruby red color. Ripe red fruit fragrance with blackcurrant and a hint of spice. Elegant structure with smooth tannins and a harmonious finish. Les Dauphins Reserve Rouge is a perfect accompaniment to salads, cured meats, roast dishes, and cheese.

Blanc
65% Grenache, 15% Marsanne, 10% Clairette, and 10% Viognier.
Delicate grapefruit and peach flavors, finishing with a lively and aromatic citrus mouthfeel. Great as an apertif, with salads or grilled fish. This beautiful wine has summer written all over it!

Les Dauphins was named Rhone Winery of the Year at the 2015 New York International Wine Competition!
