Garden raises garden starts selected for our
Northwest Climate.
Joe's Garden was established in the 1920's by Joe and Ann Bertero. In 1983, the farm was purchased by two of Joe's longtime employees, Carl and Karol Weston. At this time, Karl made the decision to grow their crops free from pesticides. Carl and Karol turned the operation over to their two sons in 2007. Jason and Nathan continue to grown produce and plants free from chemical pesticides.
Joe's Garden remains one of the Northwest's original truck farms, delivering fresh goods direct from their farm to markets around the Northwest, including your Co-op!
Joe's Garden is one of the first to plant growers to deliver to our Co-op in the spring, bringing us a wide selection of berry and veggie starts, herbs and flowers.
