What’s Dippin in the Well: Chocolate Orange Seville

It’s not news that chocolate and oranges pair well together.

Take for instance: do you remember that special Christmas time treat, the foil-wrapped chocolate orange? When you unwrap the orange, you can separate it into segments, just like a real orange. Inspired by the harmony of dark chocolate and zesty, bittersweet candied orange peel, we offer our newest ice cream flavor: Chocolate Orange Seville.

Holiday desserts: just waiting for a scoop of Chocolate Orange Seville ice cream.

Capture the essence of that holiday experience with our newest ice cream flavor: Chocolate Orange Seville. Our artisan ice cream crafter Matt makes all our small-batch ice cream from local, natural ingredients here at our in-house creamery, CONES. He starts with a base of creamy, rich dark Guittard chocolate ice cream.  Then adds house-made candied orange peel made from organic seasonal fruit. The citrus peel adds a bright citrus flavor and a delightful chewy-crunch.

Enjoy this nostalgic flavor simply on its own or atop your favorite baked good. Serve it with your favorite holiday treats, such as: shortbreads, Avocado BrowniesIndividual Chocolate Cakes, or holiday cookies.

It’s that’s magical time again – swing by our Deli to get some of our anticipated, holiday ice cream flavor: Candy Cane Ice Cream, made with natural ingredients.
