Food to Go is a weekend food program serving children in the Anacortes School District. The program provides two breakfasts, two lunches, two dinners, healthy snacks, and fresh fruit every Friday to children who are experiencing weekend food insecurity. Most recipients receive free and reduced breakfast and lunch during the week from the Anacortes School District.

How Will Your Shopping Trip Support Food to Go?

All donations to Food to Go are used to purchase food for the children enrolled in the program. Food to Go is an all-volunteer organization with no paid positions. Its annual fundraising goal has increased over the years due to rising costs and greater need. For the 2024-2025 school year, 250 students were enrolled in the program.
