LUCHA (Latinx Unidos Con Honor y Amistad - Latinx United With Honor and Friendship) is a Mount Vernon High School Club that meets after school once a week. The goals of the club are to raise awareness of culturally sensitive issues at MVHS and in our community, while also developing leadership skills and advocating for others through volunteer work and mentoring. In doing this, the club works to get every member on at least one college campus for a visit per year.

How Will Your Shopping Trip Support LUCHA?

Funds from 5% Friday will support club members’ attendance at leadership conferences across the state, such as the MEChA conference at the University of Washington or the CASHE conference at Washington State University. Funds will also provide a variety of healthy snacks for weekly after-school meetings.
