Did you know? The Co-op is a member of the Skagit Food Waste Prevention Coalition! In honor of Food Waste Prevention Week, we teamed up with the WSU Extension of Skagit County and Chuckanut Brewery to sponsor their bread-to-beer event, where they’ve transformed uneaten bread from the Co-op and Water Tank Bakery into beer! Bring the whole family out for a fun afternoon of food waste prevention activities, food trucks, and a free tasting of Skagit Baker’s Beer.
